Re: Self install for v6

V6 is currently engineer install as it's a new service.

I would expect that long term self install will be available but no dates as to when yet.

Whilst self install isn't available for V6, the one off costs for an engineer install are the same as if you were doing a self install.

Re: Self install for v6

Also was online chatting with upgrade team about this and lady said my superhub has to be within 3 metres of the v6 in order to work. I was thinking what? But she kept on going. Is this true. If so why?

Re: Self install for v6

My V6 is on a different floor to my Hub 3.0 and is powerline adapter connected. It was, during my testing, connected by wifi to Hub 3.0.

Re: Self install for v6

Yes. Virgin Media would prefer the Hub and the V6 box to be next to on another, but if you're happy for a different method then the next preferred option is Powerline and lastly WiFi.
