Remote Control Problem.

We have only had our Virgin set for a few days, but neither of the V6 boxes respond to key presses from their respective remote controls. We cannot even switch them on for long periods. The "tech" reply of switching off and back on at the mains makes no difference. I have tried the online chat service - never available - and holding on the phone for ages. Fortunately we are still in our 14 day grace period. Any suggestions most welcome.

May need pairing to V6 again!!


Your Virgin TV V6 remote should automatically be paired with the box when set up, but if not, there two ways to do it.

Using your Virgin TV V6 remote:

1. Go to Home > Help & Settings > Settings > Devices > Remote Control Pairing.

2. Press and hold the Info button for 7 seconds until the light at the top of the remote goes solid green then flashes green twice.


Or, by using the Virgin TV V6 box and remote:

1. Press the Channel Down button on the front of the Virgin TV V6 box for 10 seconds.

2. Then, hold the Info button down on the remote for 7 seconds. The light on the top of the remote will flash green twice.
