Poor hd quality with new V6

Hi. Had the V6 installed last week and have bought a 58" uhd 4k tv to use it on. The TVs performs great with other sources but the hd quality on the v6 is not as good as my old TiVo box. I swapped them around to try and am finding the hd quality grainy o the v6. I have the video out settings ticked for 1080p and 2160p. Is there anything that can be done to resolve this?? Thanks

I would remove the tick from 2160P, leaving 2160P passthru. This will allow your TV to upscale broadcast material to 4K while allowing native 4K material from Netflix (and the BBC iPlayer test) directly through.

I read another customers post and they are having the same problem. The girl from Virgin said she checked her signal and it looked like there was a problem. Maybe i have a similar problem.

Thanks for your post and apologies to hear you are having an issue with the picture quality on your new V6 box. 

 

In order to check your box stats, I will need it to be turned on and not in standby mode. Currently it's showing as offline. 

 

If you can turn your box on, post here to let me know, and leave on until I come back to you. Once I've checked things, we can go from there Smiley Happy

No, It's still showing as offline from here Smiley Frustrated
