Old Tivo to V6

Hi,

Had V6 installed a few days ago and was told by installer that i couldn't watch recorded programmes on old tivo (which was moved to front room) on the new V6. This isn't correct is it?

Assuming that i can watch them, can I just-

Buy a powerline adaptor, connect old tivo to this and then to Superhub on other side.

My superhub is in modem mode and I use an Asus router but there are no spare ethernet ports left on this.

Or will this not work?

Thanks

Re: Old Tivo to V6

You can do as you want but you have an issue.

Powerline adapters require an Ethernet port but you have none available. A Superhub in Modem Mode has only one active port, the one your router is connected to. You will have to provide additional Ethernet port capacity before you can complete the solution.
