I'm on the TV Mix package and on the Upgrades section of my online account was offered a deal of £114.94 one-off cost to upgrade to the Tivo V6 box. I went ahead with the order, agreed to the terms, arranged an engineer (and booked a day off work!) and received a confirmation email.
Today is the installation date, but when I phoned to confirm I was told they have no record of the order and cannot offer me the same deal.
I'm pretty removed off about the whole thing, but do people think I have a good case to complain and insist upon the deal?
Oh dear.. there are issues with the online booking - a few here had the same problem - Virgin are not actually receiving the orders their end when booked online.
I'm not sure how far you will get but best would be to call and select the 'thinking of leaving' option. You will then get through to Retentions (who deal with a lot more than just people leaving) they will give you a straight answer and are the ones best able to give you a deal.
