I just joined virgin medial today and have been playing about with the V6 box. The picture quality on Netflix seems to be very poor compared to my Apple TV which I usually use for Netflix.
The V6 box indicates the picture is in 1080p but there seems to be a shimmering effect around the edges of shapes and fine lines. Also when objects are moving about in the picture they seem to get blurry and pick up various artifacts. By comparison my Apple TV streams the same content perfectly. This only seems to happen on Netflix so presumably it's something to do with the app. Is this a known issue and will anything be done about it?
Thanks for your post and apologies to hear you are having an issue with poor quality when streaming through Netflix.
In order to resolve this can you come back to me with the following:
Do you get any error messages?
How are you connecting your V6 box to the network?
I've taken a look at your account and currently things are looking good in terms of stats for the V6 box. Your hub's upstream power level is very slightly out but it shouldn't be causing issues such as this.
