Re: Error trying to watch from other boxes

Also, the box you are trying to play from must NOT be in Eco standby mode at the time.

Re: Error trying to watch from other boxes

All connected through wifi

On demand dont work on 2 new bedroom boxes that was fitted March 10th but works on living room box

I know it works in the living room I haven't tryed on other boxes

Do all boxes have to be on when using streaming or can they be in standby ?

If you are on the trial firmware levels, RC4 or RC6, which introduce Eco power settings, you must be on Connected Low Power mode, not Eco Low Power mode if in standby.

Re: Error trying to watch from other boxes

Basically navigate to the sleep settings and if you see and eco standby mode option, make sure its not selected,

however the easy way to rule this out is switch on all the boxes and see if this makes a difference.

That aside I think it could be more down to network issues and why sales keep asking if the v6 will be next door to a hub.

People have had difficulty getting 2 boxes properly talking to each other via wifi let alone 3. On the other hand some people have been lucky and had no problems, but it all depends on the environment and everyone's is different.

Is there any way you can connect a couple of the boxes wired, or maybe 1 wired 1 via powerline and 1 wifi ?

Re: Error trying to watch from other boxes

Power line adapters allow you to make an Ethernet connection using your electrical wiring.

Devices such as these:

NETGEAR PL1000-100UKS PL1000 Powerline 1000 Mbps 1 Gigabit Ethernet Port Adapter, Homeplug Access Point https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01BD9TFI4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_hlu2ybJ5D8VKH
