Error message

When using virgin anywhere keep getting error message E=8 V= -1
How do I fix this

Really sorry to hear you're having trouble with TV Anywhere.

 

Are you still seeing the same error on screen? If so, could you tell me the following:

 

  • What is the make and model of the device?
  • What OS version is the device running?

Hi Fatrats29,

 

Sorry to hear you're still experiencing a problem.

 

It seems to show your phone is registered but I have re-synced the subscription anyway and added another device change to see whether this helps.

 

Please test it again and let me know if there's any changes.

Android 7 and it's a samsung galaxy s7 edge tried using both internet connections WiFi and my account one but still the same itv and BBC hubs both work so does radios the only thing I can't use is virgin anywhere

Apologies again for the inconvenience you're experiencing with your service at the moment, are you able to uninstall and re-install the app? 

 

Are you using the TV Anywhere service on any other device? If so, how is that working?

All other things are working great laptop. It's just my phone will try to reinstall tonight see what happens thanks

Will let you know have just got rid of app and replaced it then I had to resign my phone to one of my 2 items all up and running will have a go tonight at work where I have the problem all works ok at home on my internet connection so fingers crossed plus my phone as just updated so that may have helped

Still the same comes up with watch on phone press it message says setting up streaming then wheel goes round and round then screen locks

Have deleted the app reinstalled signed in only WiFi on and it's exactly the same I have looked at the internet connection and it say very strong signal it's on sainsburys WiFi if that means anything it's says watch on phone so I press for that it says str
