Can't record from My VirginMedia like I could with my old TiVo

I found it very convenient being able to record programs from my desktop computer using My Virgin Media. It tells me that the TiVo 6 is not powered-up. It is. It is power-up, on, and connected to my network over a PowerLine 500. I can record from the television screen using the remote control, it just won't work from my web browser any more. Any suggestions?

Is your V6 downloading programme info still?

Yes, the TiVo 6 box is behaving normally in all other respects.

Can you access it from the TV Anywhere app on your phone/tablet?

Okay, I solved it. The settings in My VirginMedia showed two TiVo boxes, the old one and my new TiVo 6. There was an X against the old box and a tick against the new one (after I deciphered the cryptic names - but the old one was still set as the default. When I changed the default setting to the new box, I was able to record again.
