Can I use my own router?

I have a superhub two in modem only mode and I use a Asus router which gives me excellent (200mb) wifi all over my bungalow. Are there any issues with using my own router? I would be looking at replacing two old tivos with the V6.

Hi fixerman,

As long as the V6 can gain access to the web the setup you have at the moment should be fine.

You will need the default VM DNS to be in use the first time you try and use Netflix - but once working you can go back to your preferred DNS

Thanks for your advice ozsat but that makes no sense to a 70 year old chap like me. Can you help me by trying to explain in simple terms what a dns Is? 😧

Thanks NJR73. That's what I needed to hear. I've signed up for two V6 boxes to be installed on Monday 20th Feb.
