We get the v87 errors, losing the connection, when trying to watch recorded films from the other v6 box.
Our power lines are fast and also tried the standard Virgin wifi, and also our wifi boosted network which the v6 engineer installed. Speed tests indicate we're getting 80meg download speed on wifi alone in the rooms. Any tips? Or is it a Virgin issue?
I constantly had such issues with streaming between tivo boxes - even when connected directly to each other with cat5E cable (tried one I bought and one Virgin engineer brought). Seems to have been a network issue on one of the boxes.
Streaming box to box on V6 over WiFi is fine - except that, for some reason, last Wednesday and Thursday it went wonky - with the same V87 error. Restarting both boxes did nothing, restarting the router didn't work.
Strangely one of the boxes had disappeared from the device list in the router. Reconnecting it failed again. Friday onwards all is fine again!
