trying everythin to contact virgin media,gettin nowere,phone is crackling and no one can contact us ,in or out,were new to virgin,tried all the turn off ,turn on things ,still no good.

Really sorry to hear you're having trouble with your landline.
Are you able to try using a different handset in the socket? This test rules out the equipment as the cause of the fault. If not, I'll arrange for a technician to come out and take a look.
