Voicemail alerts

I keep missing voicemails !

Previously I had BT phone and I solved the problem by them sending me an email whenever a voicemail was created on the landline.

Does such an option exist for the virgin service?

Re: Voicemail alerts

Hello melm1,

Thanks for your post Smiley Happy

The only indication that you have a new message on your Virgin voicemail is that your dial tone will change to an intermittent tone, almost like an engaged tone. I have also added a link  here which provides more information regarding our voicemail service.

I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any further queries.

Re: Voicemail alerts

Thanks Rose.

If I bought a phone with a visible message waiting indicator would the indicator get set by the virgin media phone line when a message has been taken please?

Mel

Re: Voicemail alerts

Thanks for responding Mel,

To answer your question, this is only achievable if the handset has built-in voicemail. As a company, we do not offer voicemail display as a call feature.

It is worth knowing, however, that with using a handset with built-in voicemail as well as subscribing to our voicemail service, these can sometimes conflict with each other.

Hope this helps,

Nat_J
