I have no dial tone & I'm unable to make or receive calls. I thought the problem was due to my phones, as one recently stopped working so I bought a new set. I've connected them to the phone socket & they are displaying "Line cord error, please check". The old phone also began displaying a similar message.
I've checked the service status & I'm being told everything is ok, so can I assume it's a problem with the connection between the wall socket & box outside & will require a visit from an engineer?
