Like others, my home phone has no dial tone and the helpdesk are always busy. Is there a general problem in this area - possibly related to the cable being cut by EE - or am I unlucky? Are there others in North West England / South West Scotland similarly affected?

I have tested your line and I'm not finding any faults so before I'm able to book a technician I just need to confirm whether you have tried another handset in the Virgin Media socket just to eliminate any equipment fault?
