We can receive calls, but not make outgoing calls - even to 150.

It this a known issue, or just us?
Correction - incoming calls ring but can make no contact with the outside world.I've arranged a technician call on Monday next - the first available date.

There are so many cables,connectors/splitters in the box on the wall of my house that the cover no longer fits properly.
Usually, it's just spiders and snails to be cleared out.This time it was a frog.
Either in its death throes, (or as I prefer to think, in an effort to send a final message by morse code ) , it had disconnected one of the telephone wires resulting in a loss of service.
