Question about 03 numbers.

Having spoken to a customer service agent today I am now a little confused. When you view the inclusive numbers that are part of your landline package it mentions numbers beginning 01, 02 and 03. The lady I spoke to said that the 03 numbers are only for 0345, this cannot be right, can it? Please advise if there are numbers you could be charged for beginning with 01, 02 and 03. Many thanks for reading this.

Re: Question about 03 numbers.

Numbers beginning 01 02 or 03 are classed as landline numbers, so are free to call up to 60 mins during the time that the package allows.

Re: Question about 03 numbers.

Does what it says on the tin !!

Numbers beginning 01,02 & 03 is just that. You will also see you package includes 0870 numbers (so 0870 & not 0871 etc). If it only included 0345 it would not just state 03.

Re: Question about 03 numbers.

Thank you both for replying to my question. Having done a little more investigation on this forum there is a link to the Ofcom site which explains what you have stated. What I find a little disappointing is the knowledge of customer service agents. Sometimes you end up informing them of something they should already know. Thanks again for reading and answering my question.
