I have just connected a BT handset to the phone socket and it is displaying please check the line cord when I try and make a call.
I have tried both sockets and get the same message.
Where are you plugging your phono into? Hopefully, not the two ports on the back of a Superhub 3.

Virgin Media landlines are completely different from all other landlines. Have the sockets you are using been installed by Virgin Media or are they 'BT' sockets?
