Phone problem.

Hello

Does anybody know how long does it take Virgin to fix a phone problem.

Service Status: We know of 1 issue in your area, service may be unavailable right now. Engineer is working to fix Problem.

Friday 17 Feb, fix estimate 16.00 hour no fix.  Saturday fix estimate 10.05 and 16.00 no fix. Monday fix estimate 16.00 no fix. Tuesday and Wednesday fix estimate 16.00 no fix, and now Mon 27 Feb fix estimate 16.00 ?. Not calling Virgin anymore about it , waste of time. And the click here and chatting thing online is either busy or broken. First problem in nine years with virgin, so just wondering how long does it usually take thanks,,,.Thank you

Welcome to the Community!

 

Really sorry to hear you're having trouble with your landline.

 

I've located the account and I can see the network fault in question Ref.(F005087460). Usually, we aim to get telephone faults resolved as soon as possible as it's a priority service. In this instance, it's taking the technicians a little longer than usual to fix. This could be due to any number of complications in the field.

 

They've set a review date of 27th February but will aim to get it fixed as soon as possible.

 

I'm sorry again for the inconvenience.

Sorry to hear it's still not working, I can see that your line is still being affected by the outage and you can find any updates and estimated fix times using the call feature checker here.

I'm sorry again for the problems you're experiencing with your service recently, I'd recommend giving our team a call on 150 from any Virgin line or 0345 454 1111 from any other so we can clear security with you and sort your loss of service credit.

Virgin don't keep their word from 150 number.

Phone not working from 17 February to 7 March. fix's on the 7th of March.

150 Virgin number, We are sorry about your phone line not working, we'll give you a discount on your next bill.

Bill arrived today and no discount.

Thinking about trying another company. Thanks for the help here, might try something new.

Thanks I phone 150 number,, The phone operator said there's no record of phone trouble of outage in area W3 London from 17 Feb to the 7 March, I told her I had no phone for 19 days and I was told I would get a discount, she said there's nothing on the system about it, but on the system now my broadband was not working and she will give me £3.08p off my next bill in April, but my broadband is working. I've given up, it's not worth the hassle.
