Phone line dead

engineers have come out to speed up Virgin broadband a few days ago and since then my phone line has been dead. I have checked my equipment which is fine, the service status says no faults which is clearly wrong as i have no dial tone and my phone is asking me to check the phone connection. Help appreciated.

Really sorry to hear you're having trouble with your landline.

 

I've run a diagnostic and everything on the network side is looking fine. As you've already checked your equipment, the next step is to send a technician to take a look.
