Phone line dead

Hello, I've just recently had my virgin media Phone, broadband and TiVo etc installed and ever since then out telephone line has been dead and I am unable to make or receive calls, I have been unable to rule out a fault with the actually phone itself as I have no other handsets to try it with but, I was wondering if this is common with brand new installs?

Is the telephone plugged into a socket with a Virgin Media emblem on there?

Thanks for this Samuel0373,

 

Due to the installation date surpassing the normal time that we allow for the line to activate, I would like to arrange for an engineer to visit and look into this for you.

 

Someone of the age of 18+ would need to be present in order for the appointment to go ahead.
