Phone line dead for a week now

Hi I'm new to virgin media had my first install 2 weeks ago so far I'm not impressed with my service .

I had all new wires and boxes due to my home never having cable tv before but I have problem with my home phone I have no dial tone just crackling then after 30 seconds you here dial tone for a split second then just crackling again I've run online test bought new phone and still the same .

I've tried to book engineer online but that don't work so I've come here for help please

Really sorry to hear you're having trouble with your landline.

 

Thanks for testing another phone in the socket. Testing that rules out the handset at the cause of the fault.

 

I'd like to arrange for a technician to check this out for you and get your line up and running. I've sent you a private message (purple envelope at the top right of your screen) so I can arrange an appointment.
