Phone line has been dead twice now over last few months. The 2nd time it was fixed there was a lot of noise on the line. Engineer called out on 14 November 2016. She told me that the cable between my house and the box in the road would need to be replaced and someone would call me to fix a date that same day.
3 days later, i.e. 16 November, nothing heard yet.
I phoned and spent 20 minutes waiting before my call was answered only to be told that an engineer would visit on 14 JANUARY 2017. I thought that was a joke. It wasn't. I tried to speak to someone from customer services but she put me in the queue again. After another 5 minutes I gave up waiting.
TERRIBLE SERVICE. AM I MEANT TO STAY WITHOUT A PHONE LINE FOR THE NEXT 2 MONTHS?????
After 4 months of waiting a team of 2 men turned up to renew the cable from outside my house to the other side of the road. they said someone would come later that day to connect the phone line to the inside.
