Phone is still crackling

Two engineers the first one arrived about 10.30 on tuesday and he said he couldn't fix it and he had to pass it over to network and at about 2pm the network engineer come and he got it working he had just left and the phone was crackling again

We now have a third engineer booked in for today, Third time lucky ?

engineer came out in december used spare wires has other were damaged 

he said if problem persists new cable would need to be installed

Update: I just want to say a big thank you to the complaints team for getting the phone cable out in the street replaced right back to the cabinet. & thank to the McNicholas engineers.
