Phone Handset

Completely new to Virgin and am getting a phone line installed next week. I don't currently have a phone in the house so wanted to check whether I need to provide a handset or if Virgin supply this? If I need to get it myself, are there are requirements?

Welcome to Virgin Media and welcome to the Community!

 

We don't provide telephone handsets with our telephone lines so you'd need to get that for yourself, a standard handset will work with the lineMan Happy

Hi, after having been without a reliably working landline for more than 6 months, a Virgin Media engineer just told me that the problem is that I have a 'BT' handset that does not have the correct REN for Virgin.

Its not a 'BT' handset but a newly purchased quality handset. Personally I think the guy is wrong. What is the correct technical advice?
