My phone is giving me the message "Check Tel Line". I've checked the phone connection and handsets as suggested in the Help Topics. The TV and broadband are still working and I see from the message board that others have had or are having a similar problem. I also live in SW London as does another person who has posted about this problem. I've phoned Virgin and spoken to someone who said he had checked the line and there was no problem with it from their end, whatever that meant, but the phone is still down.
I'm really sorry to hear that your phone line is not working at the moment, I'd also like to welcome you to the forums, it's always nice to see some new members.
Thank you for letting me know that you've already tried another phone on the line, as this really helps.
I've done some testing myself, and can see no reason for your problems, there are no area faults, and the line shows clear. So at this point I'd like to arrange for a technician to call out and investigate further for you.
