No landline phone connection

Hi we have been with Virgin Media since moving to our new property and have not had the need to use our landline although we had an old phone plugged in. I needed to use the land line and found that i had no dialing tone. Assuming the old phone was broken I bought a new one and plugged it in bit still have no dialing tone. I have run the test but it appears that there is no problems. What do I need to do next?

Thanks for letting us know about this on the community.

 

I have tested your line and I'm unable to find any faults in the area which could be causing this so I would like to arrange for a technician to visit your property and investigate this further
