No landline at all

I have no landline, there is no dialling tone all all. I can't phone Virgin on my neighbours phone as he doesn't want me phoning expensive numbers so am posting on here to contact Virgin. I cannot get throught to anyone on Skype either. Grrrr.... Can anyone help?

Welcome to the Community, I'm really sorry to learn about the trouble you've had with your service lately.

 

I've been able to locate your account and run some tests on the line from our end for you, we're detecting some problems and I'd like to arrange for an engineer to take a closer look if you're available.

Why did your engineer call this morning?

The appointment times were 12-4 today but he came before 11.00 as I was out.

I would appreciate if he could stick to the times arranged, if I can then they should. Regards, Tim
