No incoming calls

Hi, I recently switched to virgin media and I cannot receive incoming calls on my home phone. I can make outgoing calls and can hear a dial tone but when trying to call my number it just cuts off. I have tried speaking to somebody but just got an automated service which said I needed to book an engineer, I feel since there is nothing wrong with my equipment since I can make outgoing calls that an engineer isnt necessary. Any ideas ? Thank you Smiley Happy

Re: No incoming calls

It sounds as though your number may not have been ported over from your previously provider to Virgin Media.

If you make a call from your landline to your mobile, does the correct landline number show up on the display of your mobile ?

Re: No incoming calls

Hi DionneB

Welcome to the Community, I'm sorry for the problems you're experiencing with your telephone service at the moment.

I've located your account and can see that there's an appointment booked for an engineer to come and take a closer look at this later this week.

We'd love to hear how it goes and will be here should you need any assistance moving forward.

Take care

Craig
