Hi, I recently switched to virgin media and I cannot receive incoming calls on my home phone. I can make outgoing calls and can hear a dial tone but when trying to call my number it just cuts off. I have tried speaking to somebody but just got an automated service which said I needed to book an engineer, I feel since there is nothing wrong with my equipment since I can make outgoing calls that an engineer isnt necessary. Any ideas ? Thank you
It sounds as though your number may not have been ported over from your previously provider to Virgin Media.
If you make a call from your landline to your mobile, does the correct landline number show up on the display of your mobile ?
