I had Virgin installed 2 weeks ago and have gone to use the phone for the first time and there is no dial tone. I have run the diagnostic test and there are no issues. I cannot get any further to book and engineer so am stuck. Can you help please?

I have tested your line and I'm unable to find any issues at the moment so before I arrange for a technician I'd just like to confirm whether you've tried another handset in the Virgin Media handset.

we bought a new phone when we moved in and its the only one we have therefore cannot try another handset.
I will go out tomorrow and get another handset to check if its the phone before we arrange any intervention.
