Firstly I'd like to welcome you to the forums and say that I'm really sorry to hear that you've had some issues with your phone line.
With our phone service we do need a number of customers to call reporting a fault in order to detect a fault. I can see that shortly after you made this post we did indeed get enough reports from the same part of the network to instigate a network outage.
The fault was cleared yesterday afternoon, so hopefully your phone, and your neighbours' lines are all now working. Should you still be experiencing an issue please let me know so I can investigate further for you.
