My Land-line phone line has been doing this for days. The diagnostic tool online keeps getting stuck at 99% and then stops. Is there a Magic Fix available or do I have to contact the help line who are often Busy. My Telephone Display shows 'Check Phone Line' Any Help appreciated.
This is exactly what has happened to me. The phone was fine on Tuesday night and the yesterday it was engaged and there is no dial tone. Also the service status gets stuck at 99% when I try to test it.
The earliest appointment is on Tuesday. My 95yr old Mother relies on my landline to keep in touch or report emergencies as she can't use mobiles. Is there anything that can be done?
The contact centre couldn't care less and keep reading the same script to me.
I have received an answer to my question and an appointment for the Engineer has been made all via this forum. I didn't have to ring the Help Centre at all. I will just have to wait until Monday to see if the problem gets sorted.
