No dial tone and line constantly engaged

My land line has no dial tone and line constantly engaged.  Please could you help or advise

Really sorry to hear you're having trouble with your landline.

 

I've located your account and I can see an issue with the network in your area affecting the lines - Ref.(F005111452) . Our technicians are working to get this resolved as soon as possible and have set a review time later today.

 

I'll check with you this afternoon to see if there have been any updates.

I've checked the network and the outage has now been resolved.

I've received your message and had a look at the line state and this is showing as blocked. I'd therefore like to arrange for one of our field engineers to visit and investigate this further.

my phone line has been doing this for weeks, just happens that I actually need to use it now and I cant. All the online people are always busy so you cant ask them and the diagnostic tool online keeps getting stuck at 99% this is rediculous

I have tested your line and your number has become vacant from the switch so I have just raised this issue to the relevant team to resolve which can take up to 24/48 hours.

 

I will keep checking your account for any updates and once I have further information I'll be in touch.
