No Landline

Good morning

I am a new Virgin customer and the virgin package I've subscribed included a landline. I was supposed to receive that landline number 2 weeks ago and haven't yet. I have a phone connected to the phone socket, but there is no dial tone or anything. Can anyone help, please?

Sorry to hear about the trouble experienced with your service. 

 

The line state is currently displaying as active from this end. 

 

Is the handset connected via a socket with a Virgin Media emblem? If so, have you tested different equipment to see if this then provides a dial tone?

I don't even have a landline number, do you have one registered?

and yes, the equipment is working, as it was the one in used in my previous home.

Any ideas?
