No Landline

PL5 Area, Internet is intermittent (keeps coming up with 'restricted access' & is lagging) & now I have no tone on my landline. Checked service status (surprise surprise, it's saying there's no fault!)  have tried 2 alternative phones in the socket with no joy so obviously the line is at fault. Sort it out Virgin!

It was fixed within 10 minutes (problem in the box at the end of the street) but Virgin only saw fit to refund me 53p for having no phone for 5 days!
