No Dial Tone - B31 area (or, if the same as internet code, Area 12)

Hello!

I'm new to the phone help forum, but feel like a seasoned vet in the BB one...!

We noticed the phones were down at about 12am this morning when my fianceé tried to call me. No dial tone available, and the phone handset itself is saying "Check phone line".

Does not appear to have had an impact upon internet or TV services.

Please fix VM, it would be nice to be able to communicate with others...!

Oh, also, can you pass on to whatever team runs the "test for faults" section that having the test stop on 99% and not do anything afterwards is absolutely freakin' infuriating. Happens every time. Why offer the option if this is what it does?!

it can take about a week for VM to get to posts. you would be better to call this fault in and get a engineer booked

I'm really sorry to learn about the problems you're experiencing with your telephone service recently.

 

I've been able to take a look at your account and run some tests on the telephone line from our end for you.

 

We're not detecting any errors from our end at the moment, have you been able to test your handset at all? By trying an alternate handset or yours on an alternate line?
