I have just had a new installation this morning TV & Broadband are working but the Phone has no dial tone, the phone is working as I have tested in a live socket (SKY) in my house.
if I dial the number of the new line, it rings on the phone I dial from but not in the house.
Most likely a mix-up in cabling in the street cabinet ... VM installers seem to be 'very good' at that ... I suffered it too.
You'll need to get an engineer back. If you have access to another phone contact 0345 454 1111 to report the fault.
