I'm thinking of getting rid of my phone line to reduce my bill as it isn't used very much. Does anyone know what affect it will have on my bill and my other services such as my broadband and Tivo subscription.
You don't need a landline for Virgin Broadband. However, your Broadband cost is significantly reduced by having a landline. If you are on a legacy package, dropping the landline will save you about £5 a month. If you are on one of the "Big" bundles, dropping the landline means renegotiating your entire contact, & you will save even less if indeed you break even.
