Landline not working

My landline is no longer working, phone states "please check the line cord" on the display. No dialling tone is heard. I have checked service status and there are no known issues. I've tried booking an engineer, but the online booking isn't working, website advises me to call. How can I call to book an engineer to repair my phone?

Thanks for your post and I'm sorry to hear about the issue concerning your landline service with us.

 

Have you tried disconnecting the handset from the socket then reconnecting or tried different equipment?

Have tried a different handset, still not working. Pretty sure the line is dead into the house, not so much the line in the house hence the need for an engineer.
Still find it funny that when trying to report a non working telephone online it tells you to phone a number....

I think the best way to proceed would be to get an engineer out as mentioned.
