Landline stopped working yesterday.Have tried connecting several telephones that are known to work but no joy. It would seem the line itself is faulty.
Not sure why you posted this on the email board but whatever. Have you used the Check Service Status (top right of this page) to see if the area is affected by a phone fault. Otherwise if you have access to another phone call 0345 454 1111 and report the fault.
