My landline has not been working for a week now. There is no dial tone, we can't phone out or receive incoming calls. It is a new phone so nothing wrong with phone. Need help please.

Firstly I'd like to welcome you to the forums and say that I'm really sorry to hear that your phone line hasn't been working for some time.
I've done some testing on your line and can see no reason for this to be an issue. There are no local issues, and the line is not reporting any abnormalities.
The next step would be to arrange for a technician to call out and investigate further. so I'll send you a private message in order to arrange this.
