we are moving over from the US so have no contract. We are renting a house and the landlord (already at Virgin) asked us to keep his phone number. What do I need to open a new contract under my name but keep his old phone number.
Welcome to the Community, there are a few options available to keep your number including closing the account and requesting the number be ported to a new account under your name.
I feel the easiest option would be to request a transfer of responsibility to put the account in your name. You can request this by giving our team a call on 150 from any Virgin line or 0345 454 1111 from any other.
