Home phones that are used for personal alarm system

Does VM have a system for prioritizing repairs on home phones where the phone user has an alarm button (Age UK etc) to summon assistance in case of falls/injuries

Been a couple of faults in the last week or 2 which has left the user vulnerable

Yes, there is a priority fault scheme available for the home phone.

The account needs to be registered for it. Customer Services can get appropriate forms sent out.

When I reported a phone fault a few days ago the agent I contacted was not aware of the system.

Re: Home phones that are used for personal alarm system

Hi PDavies

Sorry to hear about the problems with your phone line, as Ben has mentioned the account would need to be already registered for lifeline prioritisation. You wouldn't be able to get that set up while reporting a fault as we'd need to send you out some forms to fill in.

We'd love to hear how the resolution goes and we'll be here if you need any assistance moving forward.

Take care

Craig
