Home phone problems

My home phone has been off all day now when I look online they say problem is sorted and my phone works obviously not as I got no dial tone, trying to ring it off my mobile and it rings but not in house.

Can you confirm for us you have checked another handset in the landline master socket with all extensions (if you have any) unplugged?

Eliminating the equipment is the first thing we ask our customers to check before running further diagnostics for no dial tone issues.

Once you've confirmed this for us we can look into this for you further.

It's all fixed was a problem outside in the main virgin extange so they have just switched my line onto another now to get a refund as my line is important as it's used for hospital to contact me twice a day to remind me to take medication.
