I originally ported my home phone number from BT when moving to virgin, I have now left virgin and asked them to port my number to new supplier, virgin are not co-operating I have been waiting since the 22nd July. I have emailed the ceo, talked for hours and really have just about giving up hope. I have had numerous emails saying it is in hand. Absolute shocking customer services. Need help .thanks
If your number was a originally a BT number, then there shouldn't be a problem porting the number over, however, if there's a problem at the switch with that specific number range, then a number port may not be possible due to compatibility issues.
Ultimately, as you are with a new supplier, this supplier will need to investigate and advise you why this number port cannot be processed.
