Help - landline not working!

Our land line has not been working for days 

No incoming calls and we can't dial out

message on handset screen: 'line cord error please check'   - check what?

How do I report this to get it fixed?

Hello debbiemccart,

 

I have tested your line and I'm not finding any faults at the moment so before I'm able to arrange for a technician I would just like to confirm whether you have tried another handset in the Virgin Media socket just to eliminate any equipment fault?

We have just tried a different hand set on the same base unit with the same result and same message

What I would like to do next is to arrange for a technician to visit your property so I'm just going to send you a private message with appointment times which you will find if you click on the purple envelope at the top right of the screen.
