Our landline has chosen the time when my elderly mother in law has fallen ill to become unusable. There is so much noise that you cannot hear the person on the other end of the line (frustrating when it's the paramedic attending your sick relative). tried 150 but same problem and the chat line is always busy. Online booking never seems to be available. I have tried another phone on the line and the same problem so can only think it is a line fault. Ran line check with no fault found so been trying to get through to book an engineer.
