Elderly mother in law dead phone

Has taken nearly 30 mins to report fault for elderly mother in law, line totally dead, being told to replace handset is not helpful, then confirmed fault on line, she has sight and mobility issues, earliest engineer can call is Thursday!  When queried told to phone Monday to try to up priority, not happy considering how much she is paying for phone, broadband & TV package.

I have near enough same problem they are quoting 4 days to even look!!! BT used to get on it same day!!!!
