why does our dialing tone sound intermittently rather than a constant tone?
You may have voice mail messages yet to check (it's one usual cause of it.) Give 1571 a ring to see if that is the case. Sometimes if there's no new voice mail, but the intermittent tone thing is still an issue - leave yourself a voicemail from another phone of yours then clear it from the landline.

I have been able to locate your account and I can confirm you have two new voice messages waiting for you, so as Shelke has advised if you dial 1571 you will be able to listen to them and save or delete them as required. Your dial tone should then return to normal so please let me know if you have any further issues after this.
