Can we get new BT Call Protect?

Just heard on Today programme about a new BT service called BT Call Protect, for blocking nuisance calls.  Went on the BT website, and they only mention its availability (and that of the associated number 1572) for BT customers.  Is this service also available to Virgin customers (as we use BT lines); and if so, how can we get it?

No you dont. VM's infrastructure is totally separate from BT.

You dont. Its part of BT's service, VM do not AFAIK have an equivalent at this point.

Re: Can we get new BT Call Protect?

Actually VM offer Anonymous Caller Rejection as an add on but like most of VM's additional services it costs extra i.e. £2.70 per month.

Bit of a joke really when BT's service is free. It should also be noted that Talk Talk (who generally get sneered at for being bottom of the pile) offer a similar system to the BT service for free.

Come on VM show that you are a premium provider and make Anonymous Caller Rejection a free service.
